Website Privacy Notice

Zoreilles.com – Website Privacy Notice (v1.0)

Effective date: 10 January 2026
Who we are: Zoreilles, Inc. (“Zoreilles”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
Scope: This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit zoreilles.com, contact us, join a waitlist or newsletter, create an account, or interact with our web properties (collectively, the “Site”). It does not cover data processed by our hardware or mobile apps (if any) which will be governed by their own notices.

1) Summary at a glance

  • We collect information you provide (e.g., contact, account, support messages) and information collected automatically (e.g., cookies, device/browser data, analytics).
  • We use it to operate the Site, communicate with you, secure our services, and comply with law.

  • Marketing preferences (newsletter opt-in/opt-out, areas of interest).
  • Giveaways/feedback (survey responses, product feedback, testimonials).

  • Device & usage data: IP address, approximate location (derived from IP), browser type/version, language, OS, referral URLs, pages viewed, time/date, interactions, and error/diagnostic logs.
  • Cookies & similar technologies: small files or tags that remember settings and measure Site performance. See Cookies & Tracking below.

  • Service providers (e.g., ecommerce, analytics, customer support) may provide limited personal information to us to help operate the Site.
  • Public sources (e.g., social media you choose to connect) or partners (e.g., referral programs) where permitted by law.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the Site (e.g., government IDs, precise geolocation, health/biometric data). Please do not submit such data via contact forms or email.

3) How we use personal information

  • Provide & operate the Site: enable page loading, navigation, forms, and account features.
  • Communicate with you: respond to inquiries, send transactional messages (e.g., confirmations), and—if you opt-in—send marketing communications you can unsubscribe from at any time.
  • Security & fraud prevention: detect, investigate, and prevent security incidents and abuse; maintain integrity and availability of the Site.
  • Improvement & analytics: monitor performance, fix bugs, and improve content and user experience.
  • Compliance: enforce our terms, comply with legal obligations, and protect our rights or those of others.

Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Where the GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on: contract (to provide the Site or respond to requests), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Site, communicate non-marketing information), consent (for optional cookies/marketing), and legal obligation (compliance).

4) How we disclose personal information

We disclose personal information only as described below:

  • Service providers/Processors: hosting, analytics, email delivery, customer support, site security, and billing providers that process information on our behalf under contracts that protect your information.
  • Business transfers: part of, or during negotiations of, a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
  • Legal & safety: to comply with law or valid legal process; to protect the rights, safety, and property of Zoreilles, our users, or the public.
  • With your direction: if you intentionally direct us to share information with a third party.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5) Cookies & tracking technologies

We use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies (security, load balancing, session management);
  • Performance/analytics cookies (aggregated metrics on page usage).

Where required, our banner will request your consent for non-essential cookies. You can manage preferences through the banner or your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect Site functionality. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals due to industry standards variability.

6) Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, then delete or anonymize it.

7) Security

We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information (e.g., access controls, encryption in transit, vulnerability management). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use caution when transmitting information online.

8) Your rights & choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights (subject to exceptions):

  • Access/know the personal information we hold about you;
  • Delete personal information;
  • Correct/rectify inaccurate information;
  • Portability (receive a copy in a usable format);
  • Object/opt out of certain processing (e.g., direct marketing);
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • Appeal a decision (certain U.S. state laws).

How to exercise your rights

Email pr*****@*******es.com with the subject “Privacy Request” and specify your request, or use any self-service tools offered on the Site. We may verify your identity and location before responding. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf where permitted by law, subject to verification.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

9) Regional disclosures

California (CPRA/CCPA) – Notice at Collection

  • Categories collected: identifiers (name, email, IP), commercial information (interactions with our Site), internet activity (pages viewed, device information), and inferences (preferences from analytics). We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information via the Site.
  • Purposes: as described in How we use personal information.
  • Sources: you; your device; service providers.
  • Disclosure: to service providers/processors only.
  • Selling/Sharing: we do not sell and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Retention: per Retention section above.
  • Your CPRA rights: know/access, delete, correct, portability, limit use of sensitive PI (not applicable), and opt-out of sale/share (not applicable).

EEA/UK (GDPR)

You have the rights described in Your rights & choices. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. If we transfer your data outside the EEA/UK, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

10) International data transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers (e.g., SCCs, transfer impact assessments).

11) Third-party sites & services

The Site may link to third-party websites, plug-ins, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Review their privacy notices.

12) Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact pr*****@*******es.com and we will delete it.

13) Changes to this Notice

We may update this Notice. The Effective date above shows the latest version. If changes materially affect your rights, we will provide additional notice (e.g., by banner or email, if available).
